Grove Wellness ("Grove," "we," "us") provides software guidance and platform assessments for medspas, salons, and wellness studios evaluating booking software. This policy explains what information we collect through grovewellness.co, how we use it, and who we share it with. We wrote it in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email us and ask.
What information we collect
We collect information in a few specific ways:
- Assessment responses. When you complete the free platform assessment, we collect your answers about your business (current software, business type, team size, estimated spend) to generate your results.
- Email, if you opt in. If you choose to have your assessment results and a short follow-up sent to your inbox, we collect the email address you provide for that purpose. Providing an email is never required to see your assessment results on the page.
- Mobile number, if you opt in to texts. If you ask to get your assessment results by text, we collect the mobile number you provide and a record of your consent (the wording you agreed to and when). Providing a number is never required to see your results.
- Boulevard demo requests. If you request a demo with Boulevard through our site, we collect your name, business name, and email address to make that introduction.
- Usage data. Like most websites, we automatically collect some technical information when you visit: pages viewed, general location derived from IP address, device and browser type. We use this in aggregate to understand what content is useful, not to identify you individually.
We do not ask for or knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as medical records, Social Security numbers, or payment card details through this site.
How we use it
We use the information above to: generate and (if you opt in) email your assessment results; connect you with Boulevard when you request a demo; respond if you contact us directly; and understand, in aggregate, which pages and content are actually useful, so we can improve them. We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
Who we share it with
We are a paid referral partner of Boulevard. Grove is compensated when a business we refer takes a demo with Boulevard. That's the core of our business model, and we're upfront about it throughout the site.
- Boulevard: if and only if you request a demo, we share your name, business name, and email with Boulevard's team so they can follow up directly.
- Resend: our email delivery provider, used to send any emails you've opted into (assessment results, follow-ups).
- Netlify: our website hosting provider, which processes form submissions and technical request data as part of serving the site.
- Google Analytics: used to understand aggregate site usage. See the Cookies section below.
- Maverick Intelligence: a visitor-identification service used on our homepage. It matches visit data against business and professional data sources to identify the company, and in some cases the individual, behind a visit, so our team can follow up directly with businesses that show real interest in Grove. See the Cookies section below.
We do not sell your personal information. Outside of Boulevard demo requests and the visitor-identification service described above, we do not share your assessment answers or contact information with any other third party for their own marketing purposes.
Text messages
If you check the box to get your results by text, Grove Wellness will text you about your assessment results at the number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, and we will not text you again. Reply HELP for help, or email josh@grovewellness.co.
We use your mobile number only to text you about your assessment. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or your text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. If we later use a text-messaging provider to send these messages, it will receive your number only to deliver them.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use grovewellness.co in aggregate: which pages get read, how people move through the site. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using Google's browser opt-out add-on, or block cookies generally through your browser settings.
Our homepage also runs Maverick Intelligence, a visitor-identification tool. It can identify the business, and sometimes the individual, visiting our homepage from signals like IP address and device data, even if you never fill out a form, and shares that identification with our team so we can reach out directly to businesses that show real interest in Boulevard-style software. If you'd rather not be identified this way, you can block third-party scripts or cookies in your browser, or email us at the address below and we'll suppress your information from this tool.
Data retention
We keep assessment and demo-request information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose it was collected for: generally, no longer than a few years unless you're an active part of an ongoing referral to Boulevard. You can ask us to delete your information at any time; see Your Rights below.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain uses of it. To make a request, email us at the address below. We'll respond within a reasonable time and verify your identity before acting on the request.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect the information we collect: encrypted connections (HTTPS) and reputable third-party infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law changes. If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
